2014-01-24mips: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker1-1/+0
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. 2014-01-24MIPS: jz4740: update platform data for JZ4740 usb device controllerApelete Seketeli2-16/+25
The platform data already available in tree for JZ4740 USB Device Controller was previously used by an out-of-tree USB gadget driver which was not relying on the musb driver and was written by Ingenic and the Qi-Hardware community. Update platform data for JZ4740 USB device controller to be used with musb driver. 2013-07-05MIPS: jz4740: Remove custom DMA APILars-Peter Clausen2-308/+1
Now that all users of the custom jz4740 DMA API have been converted to use the dmaengine API instead we can remove the custom API and move all the code talking to the hardware to the dmaengine driver. 2013-07-05MIPS: jz4740: Acquire and enable DMA controller clockMaarten ter Huurne1-2/+22
Previously, it was assumed that the DMA controller clock is not gated when the kernel starts running. While that is the power-on state, it is safer to not rely on that. 2012-07-23MIPS: JZ4740: reset: Initialize hibernate wakeup counters.Maarten ter Huurne1-5/+44
In hibernation mode only the wakeup logic and the RTC are left running, so this is what users perceive as power down. If the counters are not initialized, the corresponding pin (typically connected to the power button) has to be asserted for two seconds before the device wakes up. Most users expect a shorter wakeup time. I took the timing values of 100 ms and 60 ms from BouKiCHi's patch for the Dingoo A320 kernel. The platform data can now specify which external memory banks to probe for NAND chips, and in which order. Banks that contain a NAND are used and the other banks are freed.
